ATG Work Experience Programmes The West End Theatres run a join Work Experience Programme offering a week during the Easter holiday specifically for year 10 applicants, and a fortnight during the Summer holiday for year 11+ applicants.
The Programme offers participants a chance to gain experience of the work behind the scenes in a West End theatre, from box office, ushering and front of house, to lighting, stage door, stage management, theatre management and producing.
Work Experience for Summer 2010 is now full, we will be making the application forms for the Easter 2011 week available on this page in Jan/Feb 2011. Please note, as most of our theatres are receiving venues we do not have the following departments in-house: costume, make-up, production or stage management. If you are interested in gaining experience in those areas, you need to contact a producing theatre.
