Rudolf Nureyev created this magnificent staging of Romeo & Juliet especially for English National Ballet in 1977. The Company has since performed it worldwide to critical acclaim. Shakespeare's heartbreaking love story is brought to life by Nureyev's inventive choreography and sumptuous costumes and sets which transport you to Renaissance Verona. English National Ballet's full orchestra plays Prokofiev's exhilarating score.
