I Sang On A West End Stage

Fortune Theatre

Only on Sunday 21 March 2010
Running Time: TBC

I Sang on a West End Stage is a fundraising performance to raise money for the award winning charity, Streetwise Opera, whose pioneering work helps people experiencing homelessness move forward in their lives.

This unique performance will be a reduced version of Bizet's Carmen, directed by world famous opera director Keith Warner (credits include Wagner's Ring Cycle at The Royal Opera House) and performed by members of the public together with professional soloists. The performers have all raised sponsorship to take part and the Ambassador Theatre Group has generously donated the use of the theatre for the day, so all proceeds will go towards the charity. Tickets are only £10, so come and cheer along our performers as they sing on the West End stage for the first time and enjoy a unique evening's entertainment at the theatre.
