A Marja Fly Fly
Bertràn de Lis Projects (Norway)

Come and meet Marja, the ladybird and Tuuli, the fairy, two very different characters who get lost in an unknown and colourless landscape where strange things suddenly happen…

This enchanting production is inspired by children playing, by a tiny insect, and a short fable and poem by the choreographer. Young children – and adults – will be captivated.

A beautifully endearing performance for pre-school children, lasting approximately 30 minutes without intermission.  The children will be invited to interact with the performers and will get the opportunity to meet the dancers and explore the set and props after the show.

Cecilie studied at the Ballett School of the Norwegian Opera and the National Norwegian Ballett Academy. She has performed with the Finnish National Ballett, Landesteater Linz (Austria),  Malmø National Theatre (Sweden) and the Norwegian Opera.  She has also worked as a freelance dancer on projects in Paris, Madrid, Lausanne, Stockholm and Norway.

In recent years Cecilie has choreographed several theatre productions including the prize winning play Thomas-Evangeliet in 2004 and Fruen fra Havet by Henrik Ibsen which won the Hedda-award in 2006.
