Death of the Unicorn explores the domestication of the human race and the loss of imagination in today’s analytical society. A poetic answer to the age old question 'Who am I?'. This play conveys its existential message in an almost scathing way, whilst retaining the beauty of poetic verse. We will explore the suppression of imagination we encounter during our journey to adulthood and express the craving for individuality within a world of pre-determined destiny. Let Wet Concrete Theatre, not manipulate you but guide you along your path of enlightenment; we will merely hand you your paintbrush for you to paint your future. We follow the path of one woman divided by two fates, her struggle to find 'the self', her yearning for a world where the sky is purple and the inevitability that the ending will always remain the same.
