Fiddler on the Roof is one of the most popular and most performed of all Broadway musicals, having opened in 1964 with Zero Mostel creating the role of Tevye. Its music contains many songs which have become so well known including If I Were a Rich Man, Sunrise Sunset, and Matchmaker. Follow the story of Tevye and his five daughters as he tries to hold on to his family and religious traditions, while time and outside events intrude upon their lives. The Orpheus Club is proud to present a brand new staging of this classic show, allowing the lyrics and music to stand by themselves while the moving story is presented starkly and boldly to theatre audiences, challenging them to look at Fiddler on the Roof from an entirely new perspective.
