Founded in 1988 by former Bolshoi soloist and choreographer Victor Smirnov Golovanov, Moscow City Ballet has become one of Russia's most successful touring companies. We are delighted to welcome them back with two major productions from the Russian classical repertoire, accompanied by its 27 piece orchestra. Romeo and Juliet is one of the best-known love stories and the ballet is set to Prokofiev’s dramatic score, a masterpiece of 20th century music. This ballet follows the fate of the star-crossed teenage lovers from their first meeting to their untimely and tragic death.
