Ordinary Dreams

Ordinary Dreams
Or, How to Survive a Meltdown with Flair

By Marcus Markou
Directed by Adam Barnard

Cast includes Adrian Bower (as seen in Elling at Trafalgar Studios) and James Lance (recent TV roles include No Heroics and Moving Wallpaper)

Deepening recession, uninspiring job, antisocial neighbours and rubbish on the streets. When Miles’ wife Penny gives birth, he hopes his life will fall into place. Instead he dreams of running the country and changing the world – in stark contrast to his best friend Dan, who seeks solace in carefree girlfriend Layla and her alternative therapies.  This dark comedy follows four thirty-somethings in their search for happiness.
